The Foundation has released its first full-color Layperson's
Guide - a revised and updated version of the
Layperson's Guide to the State Water Project. This
24-page guide was first released in 2004. It provides an overview of the
history, facilities and current issues facing and controversies surrounding the
State Water Project (SWP.) It includes sections on the political fight to
approve the project, its financing, a chronology of critical events, SWP
benefits, project operations, environmental issues and a glossary.read more
